George, unfortunately, faces physical limitations due to a disability, which restricts his ability to work full-time. While he does his best to undertake small jobs to earn some income, their financial situation remains a constant struggle. To compound matters, Janice, his loving wife, faces the daily challenges of managing her diabetes. They rely solely on Janice's income to cover their living expenses.
Recently, their lives took an unexpected turn when their rented home caught fire on January 02, 2024. Thankfully, they managed to escape unharmed. However, their home now bears the heavy burden of extensive water and smoke damage, rendering it uninhabitable. Currently, they find temporary shelter in a hotel, but the financial strain resulting from this misfortune is taking a toll on both of them.
